One of the neo-fascist right’s favorite pieces of misinformation is to tell how the Netherlands (or other European nation) are full of Islamic “no-go” zones where police and others fear to tread. Pete Hoekstra, just appointed ambassador to the Netherlands, was confronted about that by the Dutch press. He denied saying any such thing. When they then played a tape of him saying exactly that, he then denied denying it. That’s what you call a full Trump.
