Counting neurons

April 11, 2018

New York researchers autopsied the brains of 28 people, who had a healthy history prior to sudden death unrelated to brain disease, ranging in age from 14 to 79. They found that the hippocampus was generating new neurons, even of the older people subjects. (Cite.) Which contradicts the previous research that it did not, way back last month.

Without taking a view of neurogenesis, I would point out the finding that angiogenesis declines. Keep eating those greens.
