Caring for our earth

April 22, 2016

Columbia is proposing an ecological corridor from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Let’s hope that turns into some real action. In my view, habitat loss is as much if not more a threat to global biodiversity than global warming. Rain forests are rapidly dwindling in southeast Asia and Brazil, from logging and farming. I suspect our descendants will be glad for what preservation we manage.

Yet another analysis of the data says that the global warming of the last several decades was almost certainly the result of human activity. (Cite.)

New analysis of satellite data helps reconcile it with direct measurements. That will not stop Ted Cruz’s lie’s about it.
