The Pope is a pagan?

September 20, 2015

The Heartland Institute got its start denying the dangers of second-hand smoke. It now spearheads right-wing efforts to dismiss the risk of global warming. It’s all the scientists who get government grants who are biased, not them, from their funding by the tobacco industry then and fossil fuel industry now.

And the Pope is pagan:

Gene Koprowski, Heartland’s marketing director, said he and colleagues initially thought the pope had spoken about climate change because he was getting “bad advice.” They now think he is inspired in part by “pagan remnants” of “nature worship” that have crept into the church, he said. “I think we’re seeing the revelation of an animistic form in the church,” Koprowski said.
