Peak gluten, peak paleo

The notion of gluten sensitivity is on its last empirical legs.

And as has been explained time and time again, the core principles of what gets popularized as the Paleo diet are myth. Archaeological scientist Christina Warinner provides the better lesson:

There’s no one correct diet, but dietary diversity is key, that we need to eat fresh foods when possible and that we need to eat whole foods.

I suspect as fads go, gluten sensitivity and Paleo diets will mark the 2010s the way EST marked the early 1980s.
