The rise of religion?

April 5, 2015

Pew research projects that in 2050, 60% of the world’s population will be divided between Christianity and Islam, as those religions experience growth in Africa and other areas that outpace the decline of religion in the Europe and the US. The caveat, of course, is the assumption that current trends continue. Pew didn’t exist 35 years ago. But those who were making such predictions then completely missed the rise of the religiously non-affiliated in the US.
