Europe’s law that gives people the power to have companies remove old internet links about them is creating an Orwellian kind of memory hole. Among others, Google is removing links to Wikipedia pages. France, Germany, and the UK generate the most requests, though those may just be origins of opportunity.

A Supreme Court ruling four decades past gives state prisons the power to control press visibility of prisoners.
