A good hand?

The New York Times has an interesting article on how handwriting activates different portions of the brain than typing. The problem, as with many of these fMRI studies, is discerning whether that means anything deeper. The one referenced study that seemed most telling showed that taking notes longhand resulted in better learning than taking notes digitally, independent of distraction effects.

And maybe it all depends on which hand one uses.
