The unsurprising quackery of porn addiction

bygone_pornSalon interviews David Ley, who recently published a review of the research on porn addiction, and found that there was no there there. Which is completely unsurprising. Other surveys indicate the religious are more likely to believe that they suffer this imaginary addiction. One author of the study writes: “We were surprised that the amount of viewing did not impact the perception of addiction, but strong moral beliefs did.” I’m not surprised at all.
