Napa valley harvest shifted

Researchers at the University of California, Davis, found geographic differences in the bacteria of the musts from California vineyards, suggesting that they may have unlocked an explanation for terroir. But cause, or just another effect? Alyson Aron tells why the mysteries of terroir are not yet unraveled.

Whether bacteria affect the taste of wine, other berries affect bacteria. The latest research on antimicrobial effect of cranberries shows a second mechanism of action.
