Jennifer Hoelzer at Techdirt unwinds some of the Obama administration’s deceits about NSA spying, points to earlier efforts by senators Wyden, Feingold and Durbin to provide more transparency. Regarding the recently leaked audits, the intent to minimize oversight is more damning than the accidental capture of wrong data.
