Monopoly, jobs, and robots

Any entrepreneur worth his salt knows the real rules for Monopoly. Did you? And if you’re old school, your set still has the iron token.

James Surowiecki argues that more jobs are being created than we see. They’re just under the table. Off the books. Wink, wink, nod, nod. But Karl Smith points out that this recovery’s private sector rebound has been quite sharp. If there is a real increase in the grey market, that would make it even sharper.

Kevin Drum worries that it is robots that will be getting the future jobs.
